The Flight Sim Centre at Newcastle-upon-Tyne held a 24 hour “Flyathon” on the 24th and 25th October 2015 in the Boeing 737 simulator, in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance.

It was a chance for the public, pilots, experienced simmers and anyone with a love of aviation or the Great North Air Ambulance to donate for the chance to “fly” for an hour or more in the Boeing 737-NG simulator.

One of our dedicated volunteers Stephanie went over to take part and had a fantastic time. Flying a circuit out of a Caribbean airport then a flight from Innsbruck in heavy snow conditions over the Alp’s.

The Flight Sim Centre are pleased to announce that they raised an amazing £1151.00 for the Great North Air Ambulance. They will also be donating 20% of the Christmas Gift Voucher sales throughout November and December 2015.
