For the last time ever, Vulcan Bomber XH558 will be coming over Carlisle Airport on Saturday 27th June at 14:23 as part of its Farewell To Flight Tour and completing a couple of passes. For live updates on the day, keep an eye on our Facebook or Twitter page’s.
Parking will be via the airport entrance and disabled parking will be at the museum. Ample parking will be available and we would like to request that you do not park on the perimeter road, or block any emergency or farmers gates. The perimeter road is not very wide and is often used by emergency vehicles and HGV’s.
Café Stobart will be open selling a reduced menu and also the museum will have refreshments on sale. Car parking will be a £3, museum entry is £1, and entry to our Vulcan XJ823 is also £1. The museum’s flight simulator will also be open on both Saturday and Sunday, so why not have a go at flying a Vulcan.
Please arrive early in case there are any time changes to the schedule. The Fly-Past will also be weather dependent on the day. We will post any weather or time updates on our Social Media Channels on the day of the fly past.
PLEASE DO NOT PHONE CARLISLE AIRPORT OR THE MUSEUM AS THE STAFF WILL BE VERY BUSY.
